The Drafter/ BIM Manager will be an integral part of the production team. This position will be responsible for providing support to the preproduction team through the design, modeling, and drafting of projects.
Essential Functions
Provide CAD drafting/ BIM modeling and design support
Coordinate and manage Revit models and model data
Create Parametric Intelligent Revit families
Review all work for completeness and accuracy
Use checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines
Provide accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis
Observe professional ethics
Demonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools (Fusion 360/ Inventor)
Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances
Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programs
Adhering to the latest industry standards
Education Requirements
Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field
2+ years of Revit or AutoCAD experience
Self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills with a high attention for detail
Ability to work effectively in a participative/ team-oriented environment
